Dimitris Dimitriou

Dimitris Dimitriou is a Certified Public Accountant and CEO of CPA Kudos Greece. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Piraeus and completed postgraduate training at the Institute of Certified Auditors and Public Accountants (IESOL). Since 1998, he has been a licensed member of the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Dimitris has held senior roles at international audit firms including BDO, Grant Thornton, and Baker Tilly Hellas. His experience spans financial and tax audits for listed and non-listed companies, public entities, and municipalities. He works with both Greek Accounting Standards and IFRS, advising on mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, and tax planning.

As a lecturer since 2002, Dimitris has delivered seminars on financial reporting, tax strategy, and business valuation. He has contributed to professional publications and co-authored books on IFRS and Greek accounting standards. His teaching supports the development of future professionals and strengthens industry knowledge.

On the AIA Greece Management Committee, Dimitris serves as Honorary Secretary. He plays a key role in shaping AIA’s response to regulatory changes and technical consultations. His insights help the committee advocate for members and promote the AIA qualification across Greece.

Dimitris also represents AIA in international forums. At the EFAA Conference in Marseille, he presented research on ESG compliance for SMEs, highlighting challenges and opportunities for Greek businesses. His involvement in Greece’s Cryptocurrency Committee further demonstrates his commitment to shaping financial policy.

Through his leadership, Dimitris enhances AIA’s visibility and credibility. He fosters collaboration between regulators, educators, and professionals, ensuring AIA members benefit from informed guidance and strategic representation.
