David Pun

David Pun is Director and Principal Consultant at AcuVisions Corporate Strategy Limited. He brings over 30 years of experience in finance, taxation, and corporate advisory to the AIA Hong Kong Management Committee. His expertise spans Hong Kong and mainland China, making him a valuable contributor to AIA’s cross-border engagement and professional development initiatives.

Throughout his career, David has worked across diverse industries, including trading, manufacturing, retail, FMCG, and information technology. He provides services in accounting, company secretarial support, tax planning, financial control, and business development. In addition, he advises clients on compliance and taxation for cross-border transactions, helping them navigate the regulatory frameworks of both Hong Kong and China.

Beyond consultancy, David is a Certified Tax Advisor and CFP®. He is also a professional trainer and accredited mediator. His academic background includes a Doctor of Business Administration and multiple postgraduate degrees in finance and economics. Moreover, he lectures on PRC tax at City University’s SCOPE, Kaplan Financial, and other institutions, contributing to the education of future professionals.

As a member of the AIA Hong Kong Management Committee, David supports AIA’s mission to uphold high standards in accounting and finance. He contributes technical expertise to CPD programmes and offers insights into regulatory developments. His experience strengthens AIA’s ability to advocate for members and respond to industry changes.
