Tobi Oladipo is a healthcare leader with over a decade of experience working across NHS services in England and Scotland. He currently serves as the Veteran Health Project Lead at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust, where he has developed and led a region-wide Armed Forces Healthcare Service. This initiative supports a catchment population of over 430,000 people and has positioned the Trust as a national leader in veteran healthcare.
Tobi leads strategy, engagement, and service delivery for veterans, service members, and their families. He integrates clinical pathways with third-sector, voluntary, and social care support, ensuring holistic and accessible care. His leadership earned the Trust the Employer of the Year award at the English Veterans Awards 2023, recognising its commitment to the Armed Forces community.
With a clinical background as a Specialist Orthoptist, Tobi combines frontline healthcare experience with strategic project management. He has authored service expansion business cases, developed educational programmes for medical students and junior doctors, and represented his Trust at both local and national forums. His ability to build partnerships and drive innovation has led to lasting organisational change.
Tobi brings this same energy and insight to his role on the AIA Council. He champions an inclusive approach and advocates for underserved communities. His experience in public service, stakeholder engagement, and policy development adds a valuable perspective to Council discussions.
