Business Banking Resolution Services

How the BBRS supports SMEs with banking complaints

The Business Banking Resolution Service (BBRS) helps small and medium-sized businesses resolve unresolved banking complaints — including those dating back to December 2001.

BBRS offers free, expert-led support to help resolve both current and historical disputes between larger SMEs and participating banks. It’s a not-for-profit service, created following the 2018 Walker Review, and provides a fair, cost-effective alternative to going to court.
