Fred Wong
Fred Wong brings more than two decades of professional accounting expertise to the AIA Hong Kong Management Committee. He became a certified public accountant in 2001 and launched his first audit practice in 2009. In 2014, he co-founded SRF Partners & Co CPA, serving as Partner ever since. At SRF, he leads audits across transportation, trading, and service sectors. He also manages a client roster that spans Asia, especially Hong Kong and China, and extends into Europe. By focusing on SMEs and private enterprises, he contributes technical insight and a global outlook to AIA discussions.
Since 2015, Fred has played a pivotal role on the Committee. Until 2025, he served as Branch President. Under his leadership, the branch increased member engagement, expanded professional development, and strengthened regulatory dialogue. Now, he continues strategic efforts to elevate AIA’s influence in Hong Kong and beyond.
Fred also brings extensive professional affiliations. He’s a fellow of HKICPA and the Chartered Management Association. Additionally, he’s an associate member of the Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors and the Association of Women Accountants Hong Kong. Moreover, he mentors HKICPA students and donates audit fees to NGOs focused on arts and poverty alleviation.
Through his work on AI integration, sustainability, and ethical governance, Fred continues to steer AIA Hong Kong forward. His leadership bridges technical know-how, community values, and regulatory awareness. Therefore, his presence on the Management Committee drives innovation, supports member excellence, and enhances the Branch’s reputation.
