Marina Christodoulou
Marina is a Fellow Member of the Association of International Accountants (A.I.A.), holding a Diploma, a Bachelors and a Masters in Accounting and Finance as well as a Masters in Public Administration. Α strong believer of lifelong learning, she has recently completed a series of seminars regarding the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) issued by the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB).
Her Αccounting Οfficer duties in the Central Agency for Equal Distribution of Burdens led to a wide variety of experience ranging from handling loan applicants and owners from various socioeconomic backgrounds with varying demands and attitudes, to conducting accounting according to the demands of the Agency and the connected official Government Departments.
Fascinated by new projects, her Accounting and Finance business portfolio was enriched throughout the years, with companies from the Fitness and the Health and Wellness Industry. Unwilling to rest in her comfort zone, for five years she was the co owner of two Curves fitness centers, the largest fitness franchise in the world, in the cities of Paralimni and Larnaca. Always intrigued by investing in companies that have something new to offer, her current interest lies in a growing company with six branches in Cyprus that is using technology advances to help people improve their wellbeing by devoting only 30 minutes per week. An active and restless spirit, participating in a number of different committees, often serving from the position of fund administrator.
What she considers to be the biggest challenge in her life? To succeed in being the best mother she can be for her two young ones!
