Emmanuel Kofi Mintah

Emmanuel Kofi Mintah is a dedicated finance professional and educator. He oversees financial operations as Head of Finance at SDA College of Education, Ghana. He also serves on the executive committee for Finance and Audit at the Mountain View Ghana Conference. Additionally, he lectures part‑time at Valley View Ghana Conference.

He earned an MBA in Accounting from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He also holds a BEd in Accounting from the University of Education, Winneba. His earlier training includes professional and teaching qualifications specialized in accounting and ICT.

Dr Mintah has published in peer‑reviewed journals. Notably, his research addresses small business microfinance, financial reporting among small‑scale enterprises, and challenges in distance education. These publications demonstrate his analytical rigour and capacity to provide evidence‑based solutions.

He also contributes to church finance governance. He has served as Zonal Auditor and Treasurer within the SDA Church structure since 2011. His roles highlight strong internal control practices and financial stewardship.

Dr Mintah’s academic depth, combined with hands‑on financial leadership, adds real value to AIA Ghana. His experience in audit and IFRS compliance fosters trust in financial reporting. Furthermore, his research background supports strategic development of CPD programmes aligned with international standards.

By integrating his dual expertise in education and financial management, Dr Mintah strengthens the committee’s capacity to support members, advance professional development, and guide regulatory engagement. His cross‑sector perspective brings new insights to curriculum design, member outreach, and industry collaboration.
